Mini Chess
The mini chess program consists of 4 levels (level1/R, level2 and level3), each level accommodating the continual development of skills and capacity as the child grows.
The program continually links chess concepts with maths-, science and life skills.
Marimbas
Under the guidance of our phenomenal and inspiring muso, Rosco Charles, our Marimba bands are a learner favourite!
These marimba skills are featured at our annual events such as VIP Day and our Art Exhibition as well as outside events such as Elkanah House’s Marimba Festival.
Visual Art
We embrace all the artistic talents that our learners possess. These talents are expressed through Visual Art, Drumming, Vocal Group as well as Performing Arts.
Learners work all year round on their magnificent artworks as well as exercising their performance skills that will ultimately culminate in our annual, end of year, Art Exhibition!
Performing Arts
Performing arts in education provides students with the opportunity to engage their mind, their body and emotions into a collaborative expression of all that it means to be human.
Through study and performance, students explore and present great themes and ideas. They discover their own voice, grow in confidence and develop empathy. Performing arts students grow in understanding of what it means to not only be human, but to be good, noble, honourable, kind and compassionate.
